I became a member of ask feminist not long ago. I didn't do much, just lurked. I learned a lot. I learned that there was a plot by the Russians to taint the name feminist, by planting blatant lies supposedly done by feminists. There was a New York Times article that was posted not long ago about this Russian attack on modern feminism. These outlier posts and responses were intended to make Feminists look unreasonable. Literally no true Feminists believe in the 'kill all men' mentality, or the 'kill all male babie. What I have read from both sides is the same thing. a man makes a bad choice and It's "how typical"; a woman makes a bad decision and it's "how typical".;It's absolutely ridiculous. The Russians did a damned good job of spreading lies and people like me believed it. They lied about the feminist ideology and about the non-feminist responses. If there could be a mediator, someone who could keep a level head concerning both sides; folks would see that both sides want the same thing. They both need and deserve compassion, acceptance and the ability to form friendships and show emotions without judgement. But what remains is hypocrisy. You can't have it both ways. I challenge you good people; that at any time you read anything with strong opinions, good or bad, follow the chain. Look up the person who supposedly write the article and you can bet if it's a new poster aka a one time wonder, it's either one of those Russian pricks or a jerk trying to continue causing drama, where there doesn't need to be.
