feminism died during the second wave. part of it was equal pay, but the movement was hijacked by the sexual revolution. and that sexual revolution birthed a society in which we encourage women to have promiscuous sex and kill their unborn children as consequence. so i’d argue the only time feminism was good was the first wave

edit: not to say JUST women have promiscuous sex, ofc men do too but that’s not what the movement was about

While I don't necessarily disagree with first and second wave feminism, they had consequences...

First wave feminism resulted in people voting for feelings over facts and deciding to have government based on what FELT like working instead of what ACTUALLY worked

Second wave feminism resulted in spiraling decreases in wages and the destruction of the classic nuclear family where children could grow up in a stable household with a stay-at-home mother

Tbf, first wave feminism also went against the wishes of most women. Women didn't have the right to vote because they couldn't be drafted or called upon for bucket brigade. Most women didn't want the vote because she didn't want the attachments. Men still have to register for the draft to vote, yet women don't since the government changed the rules for them.

Just for the record, first wave communism want about voting, and it wasn’t pushed by women. It was about voting with the exceptions of not having to participate in a” civic duty “ like fire brigade or the draft, etc etc. The people who pushed it weren’t women as it was very unpopular and women did want to have to add fire fighter to there long list of duties.

The third wave of feminism tackles the issues of misogyny and misandry, like how women are told that rape is their fault because they wore something provocative or when male rape victims are not taken seriously. A real feminist wouldn’t blame all men or go crazy just because someone takes up space on the bus.
