For Laughs.

My stbxw destroyed our decade-long relationship without a second thought. This is old news and not an unfamiliar story on this subreddit. The humor comes in when she told me she got a cute tattoo to remind her of our relationship and how super-duper meaningful it was to her.🙄

First, she said she would never marry again. (Romantic, amirite?) Then suddenly, she might some day marry again, but it won't mean the same to her. (🙄🙄) And now, she has a tattoo serving as a vow of how all future vows will not mean the same as her wedding vows did. (🙄🙄🙄) If this shit confuses you, you might just be a sane person.

So a solumn vow and a life-long commitment before God can be undone if you make a new vow to not take any more vows. Presumably, when that vow is no longer working out for her, she can get a new tattoo and think up a new vow that negates her previous vow-negating vow.

So... I guess solumn vows are like cootie shots for some people: You take them and no longer have to consider the consequences of your actions, they're just as easily made as they are broken, and they're fictitious childish games.
