Life is definitely happening so filed for divorce (CA) ending a 5 year marriage. 1 kid 6 years old son we have

Current job has been super slow hardy getting any work hours in not even 40 a week this week they send out a letter stating we where only gonna get paid what we work and not guaranteed our 80 per pay period anymore due to business is slow.

Current we living in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with 2100 a month of rent; nice area; good school district

Been the responsible one in paying the rent cars payment; insurances; utilities etc

Thinking ahead of time am thinking in Downsizing our current living situation due to income not been able to cover rent and basic stuff lucky me I saved money to be able to afford it here but savings have been drying out and I feel we can no longer live here maybe 1 month max

Wondering if she will use this against in court hearings and custody hearings in the future

Not kicking her out nor our son of course am gonna bring them with me in whichever place I can get us even if it's a hotel if it comes down to it

Only reason I question the ability to move issue to my soon ex to be wife always threatens me she gonna kick me out of our place and courts will force me to pay for it etc having to know this is more like a life event happening at the moment

She works also but never has helped with rent or bills

Which didn't mind so to I can do it well used to do it by myself before she thinks her money is here and my money is ours

Basically is one of the reasons we getting a divorce due to money issue agreements

She has family here in town while mine is currently 7 hours away. I know her mother will let her move in back if she ask but I have a feeling she might think am doing this on purpose to make her loose her "luxury" life style she has but in case she doesn't move back with her I wouldn't mind bringing them with me.
