I'm glad I ran across this group. I'm 62, male and thinking about divorcing my wife of 14 years. She's a chronic alcoholic with several public intoxication convictions. She has not worked since we've been married, she's capable of working with a college degree. How much alimony (as a percentage of income) am I looking at (ballpark figure, I know it varies by state, I'm in Louisiana). How much was the total cost of your divorce? I realize these questions may not be able to be answered but I'm at my wits end.... Thanks
