Hi!

I’m Yousra, a Political Science student at Stockholm University. As part of an assignment, I'm researching the Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW) community. In addition to ethnographic observations of various online spaces (including Reddit and YouTube) where MGTOW is present, I'm looking to interview people (+18) who are or have been involved in the manosphere (or MGTOW more specifically). Broadly speaking, I'm interested in how and why men become involved in online communities that revolve around men’s rights and anti-feminism. More specific issues I would like to explore pertain to the connection between the manosphere and the alt right, and related to that the anti-immigration sentiments that seem to be present within the manosphere.

Given some of you guys' experiences with the MGTOW community, I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in talking to me! It would be somewhere between April 28th and May 19th (Central European Summer Time), whenever would be most convenient for you. The interview would be through Zoom or Skype, it would last 30 minutes and the assignment requires us to record the audio. This will be used for a transcription and a reflection on the interview.
