Final call: I’m looking for 2 more people who would self-identify as “former incels” to be volunteers for an interview-based project. Me and my team of social scientists want to speak to you about your experiences in the incel community including how you got into it, how your emotional needs were met during that time and why/how you left it.

All interviews will be held over Zoom and be up to one hour. In the event of any publications that come from the project, you will remain entirely anonymous – as will the forum you were recruited from. You will also not be expected to reveal your name or what you look like during any part of the process.

If you are interested, please DM and I can provide more information about the project, and arrange an interview. I will never need to know your name at any point in the process, and if you would rather do it in writing that's fine too - one participant found it easier to organise their thoughts that way.
