I’m a 32 year old guy who missed out on all the sex and dating in my youth that college aged people have and I hate that I’ve been single basically my whole life. The last “relationship” I had was when I was 22 and that only lasted three months and it was long distance so I only saw her on weekends when I wasn’t in class.

The main reason I’ve been single is because I was addicted to porn and weed and it kept me from really trying for the most part. I wasn’t as bad as some people, like I’d go out every now and then and have parties and go out drinking but when it came to sex and women, I was miserable because I was always afraid to try. I went five years without sex once and then after that it was only about once or twice a year on bad tinder lays until I couldn’t take it anymore and started seeing escorts to try and get more experience because I was afraid women would judge me when they found out how sexually inexperienced I was.

Now that I’ve started to put my addiction behind me and start NoFap and Semen Retention to rewire my brain, I can’t help but feel that now women won’t want to be in a relationship with someone who’s never been in a long term relationship my age. I just feel hopeless and that I’ve missed out on everything and that it’s too late for me to find someone to be in a loving relationship with. My best friend has never had to approach a girl in his life and he’s always had a girlfriend. I had to hire dating coaches to help with my confidence and talking to women but it still hasn’t really helped me.

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve put off trying to date for now because I lost my job and had to move back with my parents so I’m focusing on trying to start my own business but now it’s in the back of my head that that’s just even more time that I’ll have spent not trying to date and I’ll be in my mid 30s by the time I finally get everything worked out. I just feel like women look at me like a freak every time I tell them how long I’ve been single
