I would say first remove the mindset of whether or not something is Beta. Consider why you want to ask the question? if you're broken up then would it really matter what she thinks, or how to maneuver? A nonchalant approach may be not putting much thought into whether or not something happens. Being open about your wants can fall under the same principle. Why are you saying it? is it to be open and honest or to get a reaction? again, if a person wants to break up with you, why do you really want her to know?

I think the framing of the question as being from a pill or whether something is beta isn't going to help as it takes something requiring more a nuanced look at the context, and surrounding it with generalizations. Self-reflect and ask yourself why you need the answers to these questions. Be honest with yourself, and then if you still want to ask her tell her your own reflections. And understand she may not care to hear them, that is her choice and not your responsibility to try and change.

Ima go ahead and just take this at face value and respond based simply on my personal experience so take it with a grain of salt. But usually? If I do somethin thats actually F'd up... someones gonna let me know that's why they're breaking up with me. If there's not a whole lot of explanation it probs just means we weren't a match and if I ask for more info I'm probs just gonna get my feelings hurt and latch on to something to be insecure about in my next relationship that there's a good chance isn't even an issue for someone else I'm dating.
