In terms of women, best advice those communities have is just getting out there and talking to them as much as possible and divorce your feelings from the outcome of the interaction. Better yourself. Talk to women. And you'll be successful.

I think it's great that you realized your negative thoughts about women stemmed from a negative event with one woman. I'm happy to hear that you remain on good terms with her.

If you want to learn more about being in a relationship or dating, there are useful sources everywhere. Talk to a friend, a relative, post questions in a relationship forum, etc. about how much value to put on a woman you're looking to date and your self-worth. Observe. See what people around you in successful relationships do for themselves and their partner. Analyze how they balance out or prioritize each other.

You are completely right about thinking about the point of a relationship as a whole that's greater than the sum of its parts. You are also right about not stereotyping people, including yourself. There's no need to subscribe to a fixed mentality; that of red pillers, forever alones, incels, truecels, or anything! Somewhere in all of that, there's probably a few nuggets of a helpful perspective but pick and choose what works for you in whatever advice you read. The end goal is for you to be happy sharing a life with a woman, I assume, and any advice you get from anywhere that will help you attain that is what matters.

You seem really rational and able to question what you're told. I think you'll do fine and I wish you luck in finding another who can have a beautiful relationship with you and make you an even better man.
