I dont know how to phrase this nicely but:

If someone enjoys beating you/hurting you during sex, then they dont care that much about you. He gets off of beating a young girl who doesnt know better and he disguises it as ´´BDSM´´.

The mom might be invading her privacy but its better for her to know NOW what this man is doing rather than finding that girl dead later because her ´´Dom´´ went too overboard with the abuse.

I'm not a professional, but if you have a close relationship with her, I'd suggest framing advice as more of a root problem fix. Ie. (yes her mom is being inappropriate, but her daughter is dating a 40 year old who's abusing her) your mom is likely flipping out because she's worried about seeing those marks. Have you considered that maybe this relationship with a much older man might be too much? And by getting rid of the guy, she can get her mom off her back, but also step away and work on herself, her self-esteem, and boundaries. Then hopefully she will learn that she doesn't actually like being beating up during sex, it's a symptom from childhood
