My last long term relationship ended early this year and my life this year has been a whirlwind - but needless to say I am so glad I found this sub. I've recently been reading Why Men Love Bitches and everything, literally everything has been so eye opening for me that its been a little bit painful to read something that describes how I have been in my last relationship that I wasn't putting myself and my needs first.

I saw a lot of the hate on this sub from others and really, its unwarranted in my opinion. I've made a separate account just for here so I can be safe, especially these days since almost anyone can find anything about you online. I'm in the beginning of my FDS journey but I've learned that being the "pick me nice girl" didn't get me squat. I need to put myself first.
