I have met some guys who ask me out to coffee or to a drink on the online apps. They offer to drive into the city, but it seems very low effort in terms of monetary investment. They seem like nice guys, but how do I propose something more substantial? The flipside is that I also do not want to be stuck in a long drawn out fancy dinner with someone I am not interested in... which has happened to me in the past.
