I'm sorry your partners have been shitty too.

Try dating as an autistic woman. I mean, you're weird and socially awkward in public so you must be a complete freak in bed, right? Come on, you're his weird girlfriend experience, you must have a perversion or two tucked away for him to try! Wow, you're still insisting you're not kinky? You must be really really kinky! Why are you holding out on him? Don't you love him enough? Come on, couldn't you just try <porn/bdsm thing>? A normal woman would...

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said they were exempt. Just that the handful that I've known who seemed to be really into it didn't try to get me into it, which was very refreshing and so unlike the treatment I've had from the supposedly normal.

Lol. Try using OLD as a conventionally attractive woman in Scotland. So many guys thinking about moving here, looking for work here, "about to start" a job here, "seeking to reconnect with their heritage" or whatever, definitely not just looking for a tour guide they can fuck... Ideally a redhead... or reddish... kinda reddish in the right light... or willing to dye her hair red for them... pleeeeeeease.... I'd be surprised if the person writing the Scottish articles has actually visited Scotlan…

Hell yes. I made the mistake of having a peek and it's goblin city where I am too. Every pornsick scrote in creation's surfing these sites one handed looking for some "chat" now they've exhausted pornhub. Personally I'm waiting until restrictions are lax enough that I can go to places and events relevant to my interests again. I might put up a profile or I might not. OLD is increasingly looking like more hassle than it's worth.

Oh hell yes. He's either got some kind of serious underlying mental issue or he's looking for yet another fling with which to pave his way to washed out old shaggerdom. Figuring out which isn't worth your time.

Gray rock. Followed by a swift "fuck off you old dosser" or "sorry pal, I don't talk to tramps" if they persist. It's not your job to be polite to these assholes. They're disgusting old men trying to fuck teenagers. Treat them as such.

Good for the both of you! There are a fair few women in the online autistic women's support group who have NT husbands. Mixed relationships happen and can be very successful.

Thanks, some very good pointers there. A couple off the top of my head that I'd add: Is he impressed or amused by cruelty? Does he talk about his female relatives and friends? Does he respect and admire them or other important women in his life? How does he talk about female politicians or other women in positions of power? Is he interested in finding out about your interests and achievements or is he just focusing on your looks? Also I hate to be *that* person but there's a typo in the first li…

No. I've done this in the past. Bad idea. One of them turned out to be pushy, manipulative and emotionally exhausting, the other was a decent guy but my feelings never matched his. Dating them was a stupid LV move on my part. I think it's less painful for both parties if you make it clear you don't feel the same way about him and actively look for someone who is your type.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/05/20 09:02 AM

Same. They get diagnosed, what little help is available is tailored to them. We get fuck all, a diagnosis if we're "lucky", and then we're expected to live unsupported AND be mommy bangmaid for some autistic prick? No fucking thanks.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/05/20 08:23 AM
14

Yep, had that too. Male entitlement towards women in whatever identity group they're in is pretty universal, and disabled women are even more disposable than the regular kinds. Our safety isn't a consideration, just the fe fes of whoever's trying to play matchmaker and the "needs" of whatever they're trying to hawk to you.

They're under the same social pressure to look happy all the time as the rest of us, and if they are in a relationship then it's with someone who is under no obligation to treat them well. Easy wives have shitey lives. They've shown their men that they'll put up with poor treatment, and that's what these men want. Why would they choose them otherwise? Low value is low value. Things might be OK for these women when times are good, but when shit hits the fan... Divorce rates are high for a reason.

Not on reddit, but then I don't really use the other relationship subs. IRL I've had very little help from anyone. I've posted a bit about my experiences trying to access it on the autism subs here and here if you're interested. The few times I have actually been able to talk to someone, this has essentially been the response. They've had someone in mind who they think deserves the chance to have a relationship or who they say "likes" me, and they seem to think autistic women are things they can…

My point is that LV HFA men are out there looking for women to be their bangmaids just like every other kind of scrote, and there are no prizes for being with one. Autism complicates relationships, and not all autistic men are willing to tell a potential partner they have autism or do any work on themselves to make their partners life easier. Autistic scrotes gonna scrote just as hard as the neurotypical ones. Spotting the autism, raising the possibility with the guy and seeing how he handles th…

Because pandering to people is what we should do, right? "Modern women" don't realise their value. That's a huge part of the problem. I wouldn't worry too much about "raising our collective value" when most of the other half of humanity behave in ways that make them worthless to us. We're already promoting higher standards across the dating pool by teaching women to raise their expectations and spot the arseholes. And women are pouring in to learn. If you don't like the language stick to the pic…

We all live and learn. At least he didn't fake interest to try to get into your knickers. Work on your own life and if he becomes interested you'll know. Or you'll meet someone else. Dick is abundant and of low value. Take it from someone who has been through a STEM focused education and met a lot of "lonelyish types"- some of these guys are awesome people, but sometimes the reason they've not got friends isn't a good one. Be wary. Also learn to spot the signs of high functioning autism in adult…

Being single is better than being with a crap man, full stop. Most of the men you're likely to meet as a single woman looking for a partner see women as toys and tools that are there to be used for comfort and support. Leave them in the fucking dust!

I'd agree completely in most cases. He's already shat in at least one nest, why should he be anywhere near yours? The kind of scenario I was thinking of was something along the lines of you're both older, the breakup was a long time ago, and the kids are out the house. Or the breakup was a long time ago and the ex was genuinely an arsehole. Even then though, it was him that picked her. Personally I just leave the dads to the mums.

You've got a hyper-materialistic society that celebrates selfishness and prioritises male needs and wants while resists all efforts to hold them accountable. Sounds like a perfect recipe to create male narcissists. Totally agree about the fairy tales.

Sadly they're not that rare. And they're great at hiding it. There are plenty who are wonderful people at their work and amongst their social circle and complete hellspawn at home.

I feel sad for them, from a distance. Nobody can help the circumstances they are born into. Present generations live in a hyperindividualistic world where electronic communication has largely replaced community and even family for many people. This was always going to be disastrous for the more socially awkward. Incel echo chambers draw them in like flies to a trap. Not our job to fix them though, or put up with them. It's a shame, but then since when was sexual selection a fair game?

Amen to that. Also check out women of your mum's generation that you know. Identify how many of those women have had to endure shite relationships. Do you want that? No. Some of the happiest women I've known have been intentionally single. Also, nobody is advocating not "settling", it's unlikely any of us will find someone who's a completely perfect match in every way. Unless the ex and kids are totally out of the picture, you and any kids you have with him will always have to have their needs worked around the needs of baby mama and her offspring. If you have kids yourself, fair enough, you're in the same situation yourself. If you don't, why take all that on? Get a man who can focus himself on you and your kid(s).

Aww, why drag the poor angler fish into this shitshow? They're evolutionary marvels adapted to extremes of pressure, cold and low nutrient availability. A habitat so hostile to life can't support that many predatory fish, so meetings between them are infrequent at best. Over time, evolution has pared the male down to the bare minimum- a pair of testes that let the females spawn whenever the right conditions present themselves. Older, larger females may wear six or more. This adaptation essential…

Ah, the Hollywood racism and misogyny combo! Eat in or take away? Would you like some ableism to go with that? Maybe a bit of cultural appropriation on the side? Yeah. Spoils a lot of what would have otherwise been decent movies for me too.

Your sister sounds like a pickme. Most College aged boys are immature morons and you're busy getting an education that will be far more valuable to you than any scrote could ever be. Your "energy" will be attractive to the right person if you're happy, confident and have your shit together. Also, nobody high value is out looking to meet new people while a pandemic is happening, and people who've settled for low value partners are discovering just how useless they are. When all this is over there…

Prefer uncircumcised, but it's not a huge deal- circumcised ones look mutilated to me. Circumcision is not normal in my culture except among Muslim and Jewish people. The foreskin is there for a biological reason- to protect the glans, which has a similar number of ends as the clitoris. Without the foreskin this becomes desensitised. If he's getting yeast infections under there, he probably has very poor personal hygiene- pulling the foreskin back to wash under it is pretty basic stuff!

See the first meeting as the pre-date date- the purpose is to see if he seems like someone you'd like to date. Then, see if he's investing.

That's interesting- where I live (UK), there is a lot of difference- if you're over 35 you get all kinds of extra tests and appointments. Testing for things like trisomy and related disorders is commonplace- there's a blood test, and if it shows there might be a problem then there is amniocentesis. There was a big increase in the rates of antenatal diagnosis of Downs Syndrome in England and Wales when screening was extended to women below the age of 37.

I think part of the problem is that it's assumed that younger mothers won't have problems, so they don't get the same level of care as older ones. So when they do have problems they are detected later and are harder to treat.

^^^THIS. And for some of us, non-existence is the best gift we can give our children. I'm on the autistic spectrum myself and the last thing I'd want to give any child is this or another neurodisability. Ugliness wouldn't exactly be a gift to them either. While it's not impossible that there might be a nice young neurotypical man out there that I could raise beautiful babies with, I'd rather focus on more realistic life goals that actually make my life better than spend years wading through filt…

Also people with autism or autistic traits may tend to find partners later in life than normal people. Another reason not to settle for an older man!

These are the hard biological facts: After puberty, a man's body is making sperm constantly. Eggs are laid down in the ovaries when a girl is still in her mother's womb, and sit there until they mature as part of a menstrual cycle. Every time a cell divides there is a risk its DNA will be damaged in the process, and a risk the DNA won't be able to repair itself The stem cells sperm come from aren't magically immune to this! Hence the risks of birth defects/ neurodevelopmental disorders etc incre…

I find fish pretty fascinating and hope to keep some soon. The range of mating methods is extraordinary! Some fish do internal fertilisation, some even incubate the eggs inside them (guppies for example). Some fish find dens or build nests and protect them- in some species the male or female does it alone, in others the pair do it. Some deposit their eggs in a redd (nest scraped out of gravel), some scatter them randomly through gravel or hide them around their environment. One common feature I'…

I'm a gem nerd and a lapidary. To me, diamonds are good adornments for other, more interesting pretty rocks. I'd expect him to get me a really nice example of my favourite type of pretty rock set with a good quality diamond or diamonds. If he's got a problem with his partner wanting a non-traditional engagement ring, or is so low effort he can't be arsed to find out my favourite gem and what constitutes a good example of one, I'll be doing my damnedest to make sure he never gets far enough along…

Why the hell do we have to let men have any input here at all? Do we owe them the emotional labour of replying to them *in a space that is supposed to be female only?* If they want to lurk on here to find out what an HVM looks like, fair enough. If they want to *become* HVM, there are loads of self improvement subreddits that'll welcome them.
