I read his blog “black girls are easy”, and while there’s sometimes good information in there I don’t like being called a simple basic bitch for like 100 posts straight. The way he talks Is abusive.

And secondly, there’s no real analysis or introspection about the larger effects of how society pushes women to act against our best interests. Just 30 more posts calling us all kinds of dumb raggedy delusional bitch.

No, we’re not all a bunch of dummies. We’re all trying to deal with the toxic effects of patriarchy. The blame needs to be squarely where it belongs, if his so-called advice is there to “help us”.

And I’m also tired of men telling women what to do. “Dating experts” are right underneath slimy preachers to me. Preaching one thing, doing another, telling you there’s something wrong with you for things that are not your fault and trying to make a quick buck off your pain and insecurities. The males are not our friends and I don’t trust their opinion on shit.

I no longer listen to men on dating advice

I think you can take what you need from his advice and leave what you don’t like.

For example in MDLWLY he advocates approaching a guy, and talking for hours on the phone pre-first date. Or kissing a guy first so you get it out of the way. I I don’t think that’s good

But the rest of the book are filled with good and concrete advice on what to do on dates and in between dates. Don’t think I’ve seen any other dating guide book that breaks down every single interaction in a date.

A lot of his advice are also spot on: cutting subpar guys off ruthlessly, he even tells you to block and delete any guy who lets you pay on the first date!

For what it’s worth, his book was a big source of comfort for me before the FDS sub was a thing. It was confirming all of my ideas about dating in the modern world, that at least someone agrees with me and put it in a book! While Reddit only had dating advice and RPW lol then.
