Hi! I’ve been following this sub for a hot minute. I joined a dating app and he messaged me first, he’s been very interested and seemingly kind. Nothing dirty, just fun, playful and respectful messages back and forth. He lives on his own and he visits his parents every week to check on them. He asked me out on a date and I told him I’d be in next weekend and we can have one then. He ask for my number 5 hours ago but I haven’t heard from him. I’m not dying to hear from him but I think if I don’t hear from him in 24 hours, it’s clear to unmatch right? Like I want to respect myself above all. I am not a girl who’s just going to sit around waiting. In fact, I’ve already got some plans happening for that weekend since he hasn’t jumped in to make any plans yet anyways. So like, his loss. I just wanted advice on unmatching after 24 hours. That seems reasonable right? I think it is but a girl friend of mine said that it’s kinda mean. I don’t think so though, so I figured I’d ask you ladies.
