The comments are all saying “He looks so sad! Apologize to him! You hurt his feelings! Get HIM a promise ring!”

One male even went low enough to say “promise rings don’t matter, neither do engagement or marriage rings. you don’t need a ring to prove your loyalty or love”.

Someone replied to him saying “And then there’s people like you. If you didn’t get a ring, just say that.”

He responded “I got my girl a ring. Try again” so I asked “Why’d you get your girl a ring if rings don’t matter? 🤔 According to you, you don’t need a ring to prove loyalty or love.”

He responded “Yes They don’t matter, I got her a ring Because I wanted too. some people can’t afford them that’s why they don’t prove loyalty or love 🥱”

So a man can get you a ring because he wanted to. But when a woman wants a ring, suddenly a ring doesn’t matter. Oh, the hypocrisy.

Honestly I wouldn’t want a promise ring as a present from my boyfriend. The only ring I would want is an engagement ring that leads to marriage

I feel like promise rings are am American thing, I feel like it's not as common, here in Europe. I'm glad about that

I talked to my ex about a promise ring and he said we were too old for that and he'd rather just propose. He lead me on for weeks thinking he would and even said he wants to marry me. Guess what he never did....
