I’m done dating because obviously it’s not an avenue to meet a man and do basic shit like get to know him and then have sex. Dating is disrespect, lying, bullying and harassment that men imagine that women should be grateful for- because in a man’s mind their paying attention to you is worth something and their shitty behavior is no big.

In men’s imaginary world dating is a numbers game and the reason they treat you worse than a fast food worker when they’re hangry (on a good day) is because their plan is a body count. They choose nearly everyone because truthfully with enough lube they’d fuck a tail pipe on a car. No matter what they say about partnership it’s a lie because they lack emotional maturity and basic humanity to envisage women as more than sex dispensers and somehow despite history, facts and statistics that explicitly demonstrate their violence, depravity and general misogyny -their bad shitty hateful dating behavior is somehow women’s fault.

No matter what I did, how I looked or didn’t - basically any and everything that was dependent on me- there was nothing I could do to change the inevitable shitty outcome and avoid crappy behavior. All I can do is stop dating completely. Like seriously if dating was only endless rounds of coffee dates listening to men explain their mundane jobs, talking some shit about their exes and basically be a mild waste of an afternoon - I would date.

I don’t take any of this personally because I’ve never been seen and was just an object that was projected on by every man who dated me. I was truly invisible.

I’m done blaming myself, wondering if I am unlovable (or unlucky), replaying my mistakes and learning new dating strategy - I don’t want to work on me, be open to love -pretending that through magical thinking I can finally “earn” love from a man. I don’t want take more shit off men (aka dating). I hate dating- it’s like cutting your head off to cure a cold. I deserve better. Women deserve better. And men are totally capable of doing better.

Most of all I want to stop thinking about love, intimacy and relationships with men. I desperately want this lifelong decades heart felt desire to love and respect a man to die. Fuck Maslow -I haven’t died from lack of love and intimacy- what is killing my respect for myself and men- what’s overriding my unconditional love for people and our planet is the utter shit show that’s dating and the underlying idea that women have to endure any kind of shit because reasons and men. I’m done.
