My biggest problem with the majority of AITA posts is that at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if Reddit thinks OP is an asshole or not. The only thing that matters is that OP's wife feels abandoned and unsupported at a time where's she's vulnerable, scared, and growing a baby. Not only is he too daft to recognize that, he needs to run to Reddit for someone to tell him he's daft because he seemingly doesn't trust his wife's feelings. Most of these posts are "I don't think I'm an asshole so please validate my feelings even though my partner is upset."

You're right: he should leave.
