My personal favourite this summer is "Women don't owe you pretty" by Florence Given. The writing style is kicking ass, unapologetic and straight to the point, especially regarding the worthlessness of male attention and setting BOUNDARIES before throwing yourself into the dating pool. I read the whole thing in one day and now always carry it with me to quote passages to my friends.

I recommend ‘Vagina’ by Naomi Wolf, it’s full of interesting cultural info and science about women’s sexuality and how we can thrive. Talks about how good relationships could be if men and women can understand each other and women’s bodies better. I really wish all young men were required to read it! Also explains how rape is about power and used as warfare, not to do with sexual desire, and the ways that porn is so damaging.
