Stay strong sis.
Our Muslim sisters need to make a post about these sort of things. I would speak on it but I’m not Muslim I’ve just have had a similar experience with a ME man. Bottom line is, if you are not of the same culture they are overwhelmingly not interested in something serious with you.

He could be already married. Iam from the middle east and these things happen often. He could be already married and keeping you in the side, especially if you're light skinned, white or blonde. They fetishize fair blonde western women but would never put a ring on them because they're seen as "immodest" and not the marrying type. Parents have 99% of say in who you marry. It's just reality
