I was in a group chat a while ago with some gfs and we were talking about division of labor for household chores. I explained how my SO and I have a really great set up of doing the chores the other hates. One gf says "I wish my husband would do X, how do I get him to do X" and the honest truth was if she did not require him to do X from the beginning and hold to that standard, he never was going to. When you start dating someone, be upfront with your expectations and hold to them, the good guys will respect them, the bad ones will show themselves the door.
