That guy better make sure his dog has a microchip in his skin. In case the woman lets the dog go, thirty miles out of town, there's a better chance whoever finds the dog can find the man who loves his doggo. Don't scoff, I have rescued a dog who was put out in traffic by a man's wife. She'd trained the dog by slapping him, it took years before he'd let me touch his face. Years later I met that man in the Vet's office. He offered me $1,000 for that dog. I refused because I could see the wife was staring daggers at the dog. The dog walked up beside that woman, lifted his leg and peed a few drops on the chair she was seated in. He was a big Yellow Lab, he was a fine dog.
