Nataliia Karia received 10 years probation on Monday for hanging a toddler in her daycare and running over two men with her minivan, before attempting suicide.

Imagine for a moment that was a MAN and not a WOMAN... same circumstances.

You know damned well the guy would not only get some maximum 13 year prison sentence, but that the prosecution would have found "reasons" for additional charges with enhanced penalties (i.e. instead of "criminal vehicular operation" they would have gone for "attempted murder via deadly weapon")... most likely attempt to lock the guy up for life.
