Their fundamental "base" position is -- as I already noted -- to deny their own "agency"; that is to say their own ability, capability and "involvement" in creating (and exacerbating) ... or in the positive, taking measure to CHANGE -- their own situation.

The problem/question in that is the word "unjustly" (and then also the implied but unstated [hence I added it in] notion that the "poor treatment" {i.e. rejection by females they have approached} is "solely" because of their unalterable physical characteristics); all of which is a massive load of bullshit.
Now hear me out on this...
Person A (who later labels himself as "incel"), let's call him Mr. Tubb-Ugly... has technically (or a least so he will claim) "lost" the genetic lottery; his face is far from being some "pretty boy" and he was a "pudgy" child even in his infancy, as he grew older, he generally lived a fairly sedentary life, perhaps had a mother/parents that indulged a unhealthy diet (which BTW can lead to being not only obese, but reduces growth/peak height as well), etc. -- long and short of the matter he now looks like this... or possibly much like this (same difference really).
Anyway, for most of Mr. Tubb-Ugly's teen years he really didn't even CARE about girls -- to busy playing video games, or D&D or reading comic books or ... (well whatever); maybe puberty didn't "hit" as hard, in his early teens (delayed), maybe the obesity (or perhaps a penchant for soy foods, whatever) contributed to unnaturally high estrogen levels that suppressed/deferred the action of testosterone... the cause really DOESN'T matter to our present point.
Which is that Mr. Tubb-Ugly reaches late teen, early twentysomething years -- and suddenly decides he'd LIKE to have a "real life" girlfriend (as opposed to simply continuing to jack off to the posters of the "Princess Leia" and/or "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models" that he has had hanging on his bedroom/dorm walls for a couple years). He goes online, reads some "motivational" stuff and decides that his chief problem (which is partially true) is that he has simply never even asked a girl out (gee big revelation there, right? you can't "win" the lottery if you never actually BUY a lottery ticket).
Alas, what does he do? He heads to some social event, and in an incredibly awkward manner, he "approaches" one of the more extroverted, possibly even "slutty" (but to his mind, "hawt") women... we'll call her Ms. Bimbo (apropos because one way/reason WHY he's probably "identified" and "focused" on her is because OTHER guys are paying attention to her)... and he get's roundly rejected; not even just rejected, but with accompanying laughter and a series of derisive comments, including several related to his physical appearance: face like a pizza, double chin, fat/flabby body, possibly even strong body odor, and generally just an overall "Ewwwww! ICK!!!"
-- Was that UNJUST? Was the rejection SOLELY based on Mr Tubb-Ugly's genetic physical appearance?
Or was it an entirely predictable, even entirely warranted response. (Now Ms. Bimbo may in fact be a "bitch" -- in fact chances are she IS/WAS -- but of course THAT is entirely predictable too, and that predictability -- which is part of learning about "social situations"; well the "incel" is oblivious to that by definition.)
You see, what did Mr. Tubb-Ugly actually DO to make himself "presentable"? How much did he really bother to learn about "socializing"? What MAJOR mistakes did he make in terms of his first "foray"; his first (and possibly second, third, etc) attempts at "approaching" a woman?
Mr. Tubb-Ugly's problems you see are NOT just/solely his genetic facial structure (nor that he is "big boned" or has a "metabolism" that forces him to be obese). It's everything about him, the MAJORITY of which is his chosen way of living/eating, etc; his lack of bothering to learn anything about "socializing" with a wider range of people (least of all with women), his POOR selection of a (I suppose you could call her a "target") to aim at, his almost ridiculously absurdly HIGH expectations (really a sense of "entitlement") and on and on we could go.
-- See this guy pretty easily CAN -- with a bit of self-discipline & effort (and NOT necessarily some HUGE amount of diet or exercise) -- transform himself to look like this guy instead. (BTW that is the same guy: Jonah Hill.)
Now the latter is STILL not some 'super pretty boy' and obviously -- the PHYSICAL changes aren't going to be entirely sufficient in and of themselves, if he continues to be an awkward/idiotic "jerk." BUT if those physical changes are also accompanied by a bit of effort to learn better (general, overall) "socializing" skills and development of some appropriate level of "self-confidence" (which WILL then manifest in many other ways) -- and then instead of going after the HAWTEST "supermodel" type in the room, the guy integrates himself into a social group and approaches women that are more likely to be "in his league"...
Then to be sure, he MAY still get the occasional (or even frequent) "rejection" -- albeit it's likely to be far less derisive -- and every now and then he WILL get some "success"; and some woman (women, plural) WILL at least date him, etc.
-- The problem with "incels" is that -- rather than make any significant (real) EFFORT, they've decided to WALLOW in their own mud, their own "feces" -- and to them whine and complain about how "nobody gives them a chance" (as if they are OWED, "entitled" to it simply by their mere existence).
