Anyway, what you are describing isn't in opposition to MGTOW. You advocate for women and men to not live together, it seems, but to come together for necessarily fleeting moments. This is in-line with male nature. Males instinctively want to fuck, but their instincts say nothing about staying around and providing for a woman and her children; males only do this because women only offer their sexuality in exchange for this. So what you suggest is ideal could never work; not because men won't allow it, but rather because women won't.

The quote basically says you should be happy on your own before you do anything else. I think Most MGTOW's feel this and are working on this. The problem is not that we men are not trying to be happy on our own. The problem is that society is trying to shame and force us into a situation that easily becomes abusive and does NOT protect us against this at all. instead, the abuser will even have all the power, so we bail out. So, yes. I am aiming to be happy on my own. In fact, the quote reinforces the MGTOW philosophy. Telling someone you love them is only valuable if you love yourself, since you give away your most precious belonging. If you don't, your love is just a burden. Man are always taught to live like that, while women are not and aren't even deemed accountable for their own choices and own lives. This is why we tag out.

Maybe that quote worked before when shaming was much harder for infidelity, cities were smaller, women had less chances to cheat than now thanks to the internet and they could be together yet apart aka women took care of the family and the man did his work and taught children what the mother couldn't teach. So i don't think it can be applied that much now, especially since most women confuse lust with love (which is more like loyalty and trust). Unless it's a unicorn, but you probly have more chances to be struck by lightning than finding one.

First chapter in the bible is the story about how God made a woman for man, and she then tricked him so that they were kicked out of Eden.
