Also, since you're so young, a few bullet points from a 39 year old guy that I wish I could go back and give to myself:

focus on school if you're in it, and work if you have it.
that guy I thought was stupid by putting $40 a paycheck from his low-paying job into solid dividend yielding stocks, yeah he's got a Corvette and three rental properties now and works at his hobby because he likes doing it. .. (look at solid dividend stocks and invest).

-if you need to fuck, get a good hooker and use a condom. All hookers are less risky than a date, but like many things, you do get what you pay for. Treat yourself well when you treat yourself.

-everything she tells you, is a lie.

-be professional, be courteous, and be unavailable.

-network with people who make you happy, and dont waste your time and energy being a pleaser for people who are not signing your paycheck.

-tell the truth and tell it bluntly. People will think you're a dick, but they'll respect the shit out of you for carrying around brass balls that big.
