Let's face it the power in the decision to have an abortion lies in the hands of Women.

I don't have a problem with women being allowed to have an abortion, I am pro abortions, my beef is that the man seldom has a real say in the matter.

My proposal is Men be allowed the right to rescind all their parental rights to the baby, especially the obligation to pay for child support. There should be a 2 year window when you can exercise your rights. If you claim the child as yours, sign the birth certificate, you are not able to "abort" the child if you have been there care giver after age 2, whether or not you're the child's biological father this allows men 2yrs to have a patternity test done.

Let's face it 99.9% of the male population will not abort a child that is biologically theres, this is because we are honor bound to step up, it's literally part of our DNA to protect what is ours. This update in the abortion laws will protect men from being taken advantage of by women "proposing" marriage or using a child as a pawn in relationship power plays.

I believe if it were put in place the number of accidental pregnancies would drop. Above all pregnancy wouldn't be used as a game or as a financial play.
