TLDR: Previously wanted to pursue computing/IT more specifically game development, changed all my plans to politics but now realise I made a mistake and do in fact want to pursue computing/IT. Uni not been the best experience and I am in a bad place mentally, no purpose, no meaning, sleeping pattern was messed up but fixed now, waste a lot of time procrastinating, no-one to turn to and looking for advice on what I should do.

Make a game around politics as you see/understand it while completing the Uni?

I think you should chill the fuck out. Start building some games on the side. train yourself using udemy. If it is going to get you further into debt to pursue game dev then don't.

Let me tell you this, it doesn't matter what you enjoy now, if you have to do it for work, you will eventually hate it.

If you've only got one year to go to complete school, grit your teeth get through it and then get a job. Work that job while pursuing passions on the side that you may be able to turn a profit with.

Save some cash by living at home and working once your education is done. Buy a van and spend some money doing it up so that it has a bed in it. Drive out of the shithole you are in, drive to London or manchester where there are bigger tech scenes. Live in the van and work in a 9-5 whilst attending meet ups where you can expand your social network so you can hope to get a job and transfer over.

Read up about (((them))) and realise why the world is why it is.

Been where you are. Think hard about what you want from life, and if you feel university isnt a bonus/getting you there, drop out. Get some real work experience, is that bank job in your field? Make some games, try other things. Find some physical activity you enjoy that you can use to tire yourself out and help with the sleep schedules. Also, screen time before falling asleep ia a bad idea- the light from the screen tricks your brain into thinking its daytime and you dont need to sleep, so be aware of that.

First off, don't worry about religious MGTOW's. We're not gonna bite your head off.

Next, there's already some good advice here. Chill out. Relax. You have plenty of time to figure out what you want to do. If uni isn't your thing, then don't go.

You have the same issues with procrastination, motivation etc. that a lot of us do, especially me. You just have to work through it. As a motivational speaker put it, you have to do what you know you need to do whether you feel like it or not. Find something you enjoy doing and get cracking, be it computing or something else.

You'll be fine.

Go to a tech or a trade school - if the classes you want are available in the evening, do evening courses by preference. (you'll be working with older and quality of students at night) Also get familliar with online course providers like Udemy.
