Just wanted to share a thought I had about booze. I've had trouble controlling it through the years, and it occurred to me - its price might as well be zero. The price of beer/liquor is absolutely negligible compared to the direct and indirect consequences which it causes.

So next time you buy booze, ignore what the clerk charges you, the real prices are: for a 6-pack = $0.00, for Johnny Walker Blue = $0.00. Absolute zero compared to the unspeakable magnitude of the sum total of embarrassment and sadness and regret.
