Yup, happened to Miranda Kerr (High School Boyfriend died) she even told Orlando Bloom she wanted her boy named after her Ex-Boyfriend. Alpha widows lmao. The concept initially seems so far fetched, but when I think about it it makes sense. Hard to enjoy a cheeseburger off of the dollar menu after having filet mignon.
Unlike most guys I've talked with about this, I think so called "alpha widows" are created from sex rather than straight up masculinity or even wealth. In my opinion, sex is an emotional phenomenon that is expressed through a physical medium; sex is probably a lot more emotional for women than we know as men, and when women have a very fulfilling experience..... they get addicted.

Nah, women don't "reset" their expectations like men do. Men who have banged models in their early twenties can still be happy with a good woman later in life because they can still appreciate the experience was fleeting.

I have been women's "Alpha" in this scenario. The funny thing is, if she met me 10-20 years later I might not give her the same tingles anymore. They go back to the Alpha, and he turns out to be beat down by life now and they are like "oh shit" and run back to their current "sure thing."
