I cheated on my wife of 5 years back in March 2018 when I took a trip to Japan; met up with a South Korean girl I met at my former workplace 8 years prior. We chatted online here and there, but never crossed any boundaries until I took that trip to Japan. Wife cheated on me in July 2018 when she was on a work conference trip to Guam. We found out about each other's cheating at the same time in July after she returned from her trip. I broke off all communication between the Korean girl and she did the same with the guy at the conference, and we attended marriage counseling for 2 months trying to make it work but recently realized we were better off as friends, so we are currently separated and in the process of getting a divorce. I started communicating with the Korean girl and I decided to take a trip in January 2019 to meet up with her in Seoul. Is that bad? I assume it's not, since I'm single I can do whatever the fuck I want.
