NY has some fucked up laws. I don't know that it's even actually legal for you to record in your own home if you don't have everyone's consent; including the burglars. But what if she never consented to get filmed which is his evidence? I thought in some states, being filmed against your consent is illegal, therefore making your evidence illegal.
