Arrogant statement. I've been a pessimist before puberty. I don't think it's because I know "too much." If I knew too much I wouldn't be a pessimist because I would know how to exist within the piss puddle that is modern life.

So true. Speak volumes about where we are now as a society, and to a larger extent, as a species. And it's not good. I am under 48, and I am certainly a pessimist. Although I look forward to the future of myself. I can't say the same for the rest of humanity. Not for women, and definitely not for the blue pill simps who enable them.
