Imagine being so unable to accept/find joy in the merit of another person for what they're worth - that you live in this idea that you "settled" and thus live a life a quiet desperation. Comparing your partner to what you can no longer have. Living in a state of constant murder of whatever joy you could get out of the union and the rest of your life.

no one should settle. what's worse is women are experts at exploiting men's romantic feelings that don't exist in women and convince them its love when the girl is using it to settle. always leads to horrible abuse both ways.

@ u/GoodFaithSockPuppet I'll reply to you this way since your comment is missing for some reason. I see what you're saying, but it call comes back down to the woman's accountability. She made the adult decision to marry the guy and also made the adult decision to have kids with him. If she didn't want that for herself then she could've flat out said no and walk away. I feel this way with any person no matter male or female.
