If you mean private security as opposed to military or law enforcement, then the job description varies. A lot of the time your job is to patrol, observe, and if necessary alert police. I know some private security carry a sidearm but I am extremely skeptical as to whether there are any scenarios that permit him to use it (outside of the usual laws binding any armed citizen in that jurisdiction).

In the US, I'm sooooooo glad I got out of security. The rules have changed too much bc of hurt fewlz.

If you're not a fat fuck and you know how to use it there is a "blade" in your forearm where the ulna thickens just below the wrist. In Kung Fu we spend years doing drills to harden that fucker so we can "chop" with it. One of my brothers from the kwoon does unarmed security. He got into a situation a while back where two assholes jumped him and he did what he had to do; including chop one of them with that "weapon". Fucking local PD cited him. He got a desk appearance ticket. Fucking asshole judge let him off with a warning when it should have just been dismissed.

Fuck that shit 97 million ways to Sunday. Unarmed against multiple attackers we are trained to kill. All he did was fuck up the guys neck. Fucking asshole got off easy. I would have done a hell of a lot more. I do not fuck around any more. As a civilian now if I can't run away and you force me to fight I break bones, dislocate joints and rupture organs. It's not that hard if you know how. I'd rather explain it to 12 than get carried by six.

I had a similar experience. I used my OC. And after our lawyer sent their lawyer the CCTV footage the law suit went away bc they *did not* want to get that shit in front of a judge bc the whole time they were trying to sue I was pushing to get the little cunt thrown in juvie for assault.

I'd just ziploc hogtie them, then wait for their parents to show - then present them a bill for the damages. If they give lip, I'd get child protective services involved, unattended minors in public is frowned upon. But for these brats, no mercy. They are in definite need of some measure of discipline.
