Good evening gentlemen,

I wanted to get your advice on how to avoid social situations at my new job without raising suspicion of being some kind of weirdo. A few weeks ago I landed a new job with a large multi national corporation. We are a group of 20, 12 males and 8 females in training that will be together at least a year. Most of these people are recent grads or people who graduated 2 years ago at the latest, I am in my late 20's. This job means the world to me, out of college I struggled greatly to find a job in my field. Since then I have done my share of shit jobs and the last thing I want is drama, an HR summons or to lose my job. If you approach a woman at work and she doesn't like you, HR summons. If a woman approaches you and you don't reciprocate, HR summons because that is basically rape.

So from day 1, these people have been organizing happy hours, outdoor activities, weekend nights downtown, it's 2019 and I really don't want to take part. Over the years I have become good at body language and I can already tell who is fucking who. There are thousands of beautiful women in this city, I do not want to get involved with the 8 that I work with every day.

What are your thought's? Should I be going out with these people or am I correct to be cautious? How do I avoid these social situations without seeming like an anti social weirdo?
