With my last girlfriend, any time I totally called her out on her actions, her response was always a quick "That's not correct at all!!!" and after a while, I learned real quickly that if her response was at that certain tone, I had hit the nail on the head. Sure enough, two days later, she'd always confess that I was spot on.

They can't help but lie about their true intentions. It's hard wired.
