The fact that her username is “Ihatemylife” is evidence enough that church going has done nothing for her.
Christianity is dead, a very small minority of Christians even follow the examples of Christ. The young people go because their parents make them, the middle age people go and are extremely lukewarm about it and grandma goes because that’s all she knows.

Throughout history only a minority of Christians were actually true believers. For most of the European Common Era: religion was state sancioned. You had no choice, you ever went to church and did as the Priests told you, or you was burned for heresy.
The path to eternal life is small and few find it, but wide is the road that leads to hell.

I can’t say I’ve not been luke warm for a few years now.
I’m probably two paychecks away from poverty, I’m holding onto my health by a thread and as a 50+ year old man that works alone, I’ve become so isolated from other people that I can’t say I have any true friends.
I’ve been going to the same church for a decade now, I really enjoy the preaching because it’s fundamental and the pastor teaches from the Bible, not some other self help book he read. I’ve slowly seen my church die as all the young “Christians” leave as they turn college age and are no longer under their parents thumb. The other members are dying left and right because they are elderly and the rest are middle age people like me that don’t seem to have a clue about the internet and how fucked up our society has become. The only reason I keep going is because the pastor read into MGTOW and supports the cause.
I’ve went to all the churches in the area and only one preached a message I liked. The next week I went, the pastor preached about blue pill shit about how every man needs a wife (ignoring the fact that Paul said it’s better to not marry) and got mad when the tithes were not what he was expecting.
I’m to the point I just sit at home and read my Bible on Sunday mornings.

I'm Catholic. I know a lot of people have issues with Catholicism, mostly historical issues. But really I find a massive amount of joy from practicising Catholicism.
The Rosary is an amazingly powerfull prayer tool, it really takes me to another place when I pray the Rosary. Plus learning Latin and reading works the Saints is incredible.
Have you read "Confessions" by Saint Augustine? It's the most life changing book i've ever read. The first half is how he went from Chad to Bishop, the second half goes into the deepest spiritual places i've ever come across.
