The problem is that's a very short relationship. I've ended dates early because women have been taught there's nothing wrong with being openly rude.

True statement, and easily done during the dating or early relationship phases.
Try enforcing those boundaries after marriage and/or children and see how that works out for you. Once your relationship has some legal standing you are completely at her mercy. You going to hold her to those strict standards when she will take your house and half+ your money, along with alimony/child support? Think she doesn't know who has the upper hand?

Relationships of any kind are a waste of time, hell, even one night stands are a waste of time, and the diminishing returns hit a new low when you get into marriage, can't go any lower than that.

I have a friend with 3 daughters under 10. He works from anywhere and his family has a cabin 45 minutes from where we live. If the wife starts nagging he goes to the cabin for 2 days and blocks her. If she complains when he comes back he turns right around and goes right back up to the cabin. He has basically trained her that if she wants help she needs to be calm and civil. If she wants to whine and complain then she gets a taste of single motherhood. He’s the happiest married guy I know.

He is lucky that she is dumb and wont falsely accuse him of abuse.
She doesn't even know that she doesn't have him by the balls. The law is on her side 100% whether or not she is lying.

No.
She’s a stay at home mom by choice. How would accusing him or anything and him losing his job accomplish anything for her. She would be living in a shitty two bedroom apartment quickly pulling that move.

I did something like this, she did a nuclear shit test by bringing a guy to our house and fucking him.
Youre banking on her making a rational choice and if she has any options she deems as better or different well, here comes an affair

He might be relieved if she gave him a easy out like that.

Is your friend living in the US or in another country?
[–]LotBuilder0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
In CA.

Then that man is playing with fire especially in Cali.
Single motherhood is celebrated and intact family units are despised in 2020, especially in Cali.
Though this quarantine might change things.
Gotta wait and see.

You are reaching a bit too far. Leaving and going to your cabin is risk free and once women have a taste of an upper middle class lifestyle they don’t want to go backwards, especially watching 3 young kids 24/7.

I don't make the rules on the rigged game that is marriage.
Nor the self destructive behaviour that women have for their lives.
Here a recent divorce with false claims even during this quarantine.

But if you choose to ignore such things I don't care. But don't call it a reach.

Jay Cutler is worth $53M. That’s a different ballgame.

This how biased family courts are towards fathers.
But you want to move the goalpost so this will be my last response.

It really is like raising children. Never reward bad behavior.
[–]LotBuilder2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exactly. I’m divorced but had I trained my ex better things would have been tolerable. Behavior rewarded is behavior repeated. Punishments have the opposite effect.

Remember that not being in a relationship is also a better option. Particularly if its like this. You may also concider it as the default, not being in a relationship at all is the better options.
Noone is that amazing to constantly be around.

Solid advice, the best person to constantly be around is yourself, once you start liking who you are privacy is a bliss.
