If you're going to talk about Dune and its relation to MGTOW, then you have to point out that the Bene Gesserit represent the female gender.

Use of "the voice" to manipulate the mind... the selective breeding program... and yet, unable to look where men can see.

Paul Atreides is the Qwizatch Chaderach. Ultra powerful, chicks want his parts in their box.

Shaddam IV is your typical Bill Cosby/Harvey Weinstein type, undone by the women who welch on the deal.

There are betas. Mentats. Thufir and Piter both have to serve alphas.

The closest thing to MGTOWs are the guild navigators. They detach from humanity, mutating. They do not care about the politics. They see through it all and into time and space. Their only desire is to do what they do, and if you fuck with them, they cut off your planet and never come back.

The spice must flow.

Dune is rightfully a classic. I never got into the subsequent novels by Frank Herbert, and I've tried hard get through the stuff written by his son and Kevin Anderson... But the writing is just BAD.
