Next week I’ll be able to pay my credit card balance down to a couple hundred dollars. Two weeks after that it will be gone. In the last year or so I racked up a few thousand dollars in debt. I had moved to a new state and had more expenses than I thought. Also fell into a lot of consumerism. Had to eat into my entire savings and throwing large portions of my paycheck at it, but I’m finally at the end. September I’ll be starting new. No debt, no savings, no assets. But I got a good job, an apartment, a car. Surviving day by day. Never married, no kids. I’ll be 30 in November.
