There is not ONE movie made in today's Hollyweird that will allow a STRONG, MASCULINE, BLACK MAN to be successful or do anything without being put-down, a thug, gay, or a bit-player in HIS OWN MOVIE.

Fuck that bullshit. And fuck Black Panther The "CULTURAL" Event of February...they're exploiting the "We Wuz KAINGS," crowd, giving them fantasy pablum that they can package as some type of "reparations."

But what they don't realize is that Wakanda is an Alt-Right wet-dream, completed sealed off country that allows ZERO immigration and does not help its neighbor countries because of Uber-Nationalism.

The funniest thing: Many of the "Woke" crowd are saying this is what Africa would be like if it wasn't "colonized." And yet, the filmmakers can't even be bothered to explain how ANY of the tech works except that it's "basically magic."

It's stuff like this, Afro-centrists, that makes it so we can't have nice things, like logic, mathematical reasoning, or even a MAN to look up to, instead of his Shuri-Riri-Williams child-genius-can-do-anything-except-NOT-insult-her-brother.

Ugh. And I have to watch this in March...being dragged along. I am dreading it. Thankfully, I only have to see it once.

I actually enjoyed it, all female roles were lifted straight from the comic books. Although I will say the middle of the film should've focused more on the main character

i liked it. its also anticolonial (euro-brit-dutch etc) af. notice everyone with real power were men.
its filled with deus ex machinas. the role of women follows the comics well.
there was a funny bit about accepting immigrants and their problems. lol. (europe!)
all in all it tries to recapture the black pride of the 70s.
they also conveniently leave out the fact that slavery still exists (gasp!) in africa.
mainly i like the theme of what to do if youre a true technocracy...

from the comments, i can tell whose been reading the comics for decades and who hasnt.

Oh nooooo!!!!! I have tickets to see this on Sunday, I was praying to ALL THE GODS that Marvel wouldn't do this.

So far Marvel has been pretty good, most their movies don't go "too" SJW.

I'll still gonna watch it. The girl power BS won't really bother me since the main characters is a ripped black guy vs another ripped black guy. Batman deals with girl power all the time with the league of assassin's.

The hype surrounding Black panther bothers me. Blade had 3 movies and nobody talks about those.

Wonder woman and the female empowerment bullshit was the cringiest thing I've seen in a while.
