excellent movie. A very good sequel, good story, great acting, amazing special effects. Not as good as the first but that was a mindblower in 1982.

One feature of the movie that was particularly interesting was the device that Ryan Gosling's character "K" had in his apartment. It projected a holographic AI girlfriend that he was able to interact with and that very convincingly seemed to love him. Actual love from a sentient AI? Probably not but it doesn't really matter. In a few years when actual AI reaches that level it will be a complete gamechanger. And it doesn't have to be true "Turing Test" AI, just a believable facsimile. (And it didn't hurt that the actress that played the hologram girlfriend was smoking hot!)
