I read the book almost 30 years ago so was intrigued to see the new TV adaptation and how it would treat the source material given 'current year'. If you haven't read or seen it - the premise is this: In the future the government will take over the role of parents. All children will be test tubed and raised by the government. There are no mothers, fathers, brothers or family of any type. Nothing difficult is ever faced - if it is a SOMA pill is popped so that the citizen can "check their levels". Sex is on tap and the entire population attends orgies every night, getting attached to another person is seen as anti-social and harms the 'social body'. It's basically a Marxists wet dream that Aldous Huxley was trying to warn us against (just like Orwell tried to warn us about in 1984). The core argument against these idealist notions is the reality of human nature - we like fighting, we like getting depressed, we like interesting things even if they aren't family rated. The Utopia of the Marxist's only solution to errant human nature is re-education - we all know what that means (see China and Ughyurs for Rl example).

MGTOW is the epitome of individualism - i.e the anti-thesis to Socialism. Responsibility and Self determination are the keys to Male happiness. the TV version almost had this right with John the Savage until he became another cuck.
