They can make for pretty awesome companions. They're not dogs, obviously, and don't show affection in quite the same way and may not be able to rescue you in the event that your house burns down but they're definitely worthwhile companions once they warm up to you. They're low maintenance, easy to potty train, low noise (compared to dogs, anyway), very cute, and very affectionate once you get to know them.

Don't leave cats to "crazy cat ladies". Those bitches will abuse and/or kill their cats, trust me. It's easy to feel as though there's a void in your life when you walk away from women, but that doesn't need to be the case. Dogs are an easy answer but consider cats too.
