It’s the standard, illogical, double think that women have. They want a strong man to take control, but not full control, but enough control to where they feel you’re “dominant” enough in the relationship but if you ever exert your dominance, they’ll flee to daddy government to keep you on a leash.

I presented text, email, and photographic evidence to a judge that documented several injuries caused to me by my wife; my wife filed a counter-suit alleging DV after I filed mine. It was surreal in many ways. Aside from the police officer and me, everyone else in the room was a woman. The judge reviewed my evidence said that my wife must have been acting in self-defense and that she couldn't possibly be the aggressor. I was ordered to undergo a DV assessment and my case was dismissed. My wife had a grin on her face that I believe was evil, which makes since when you consider that after I proved that she lied in court on several occasions, presented documentation that she harmed me and lied about her instances of DV, the judge sided with her and then punished me.

I was just reading some research that showed that even though men also commit domestic violence sometimes, it is practically unheard of for men to be the initiator of violence. That is, male violence in domestic situations is almost exclusively response to female violence. That means that if women could be prevented from using violence themselves, domestic violence against them would essentially cease to exist. Therefore, if they really cared about ending domestic violence, their strategy would be to train women not to initiate violence against men. Yet when anyone proposes such a thing, domestic violence advocates are outraged.

My old girlfriend years ago punched me in the back of my head because she wanted to walk to exercise and said I walked too fast and threw a mean punch and I didn’t do anything back yell at her. She also would scream in my ear to try and make them ring (she knew I hated it). Well one day I could tell she was in a bad mood but hung with her anyways but had my phone on record, she slapped my face when I was looking away, I showed her my phone from my pocket and she swung again, I threw a power right hook to her stomach and that relationship was over. Thank God I got it on tape or the police would end up arresting me! Women hit men, and my username says 1995 but I’m actually older than that , she knew I did boxing competitions for over a decade and would bait me. But damn , that right hook in self defense was amazing. She is lucky I didn’t aim for the tip of her chin, and lucky i didn’t call the damn police on her and show them video.

I mean, not only women laugh at this, men do it too. It's far too common for people to dismiss domestic violence if it's a woman inflicting it on a man. Though not all women laugh at this, some actually care about this problem.
