I can understand the marginal, yet measurable value that a stay at home wife could provide in the past, when the system allowed men the authority to enforce their requirements.

Clean house, warm supper, well-maintained figure (don't get fat) frequent sex, and well-behaved kids. Trading that for resources and security, I don't have much to say against that, if it's what you want. It's not my cup of tea, but I don't judge.

The problem is today's system has no advantages for men, none. If you get married, you're fucked. You can't enforce shit. If your wife decides she doesn't want to playact like the submissive darling she was before, then that's that. Pigsty of a house, bratty kids, and frozen dinner meals. That's your future.

Also she'll be cheating on you while you're grinding those 12 hours a day at work providing for her increasingly fat ass.
