You don't always see the shit you read about on the Internet in real life, but this is one of those times. For the last 2 or 3 days, this co-worker mine has been openly bragging about cheating on her boyfriend who she's been with for almost 2 years now.

In a twisted way, she's proud of it. She was telling me to my face, giggling and carrying on like a school girl, about how she was hooking up with an old FWB she had before she met her boyfriend. That guy caught feelings and she jumped onto her present boyfriend shortly after.

Old FWB came out of the woodwork last week though and they've been "hanging out". I asked, mildly intrigued, if she cheated yet and her verbatim answer: "We made out a couple times and we held hands in the bar, but that was it. No actual cheating" lmao.

Then she showed me some texts and this FWB is a beta faggot to the core. He was saying things like he wants to take her to Hawaii to swim with sharks, he plans on taking her to his family cabin in Colorado, and cringey shit like "What if we ended up getting married hahaha :)" and "You ran from me last time, but I won't you go this time" with 79 heart emojis.

I asked her why she doesn't just break with her old boy. Her reasoning made me sick. "I just don't know how. I'm not good at breaking up". Just blew my fuckin' mind. How can that possibly be rationalized? Who the fuck thinks this way? In what bizarro universe does this logic apply?

It's just been a real mind fuck, and I feel sorry for her man. I don't know him personally, but everybody says he's really laid back and really enjoys his video games and kicking it at home most nights. She's been getting more aggressive about it too and cutting him down by saying he's got a little dick and can't hit it well. It's just a sad state of affairs.
