Still at the hospital, wandering around bored out of my mind. So i started talking to one of the head nurses, lady in her 50's if i had to guess (cant really tell due to makeup, so 40+?). Anyway were lightly conversating im scrolling through r/roastme and shes on her pc typing stuff. She brings up my phone usage. The classic "i remember when i was younger" cliche convo about phones.

Another lady standing there joins in and starts talking too. A few minutes later we somehow end up talking about grandkids and sports, this is where i started noticing it. They started comparing their kids almost as if they where trophies. At some point it as almost as if they where just talking and weren't even listening to what the other had to say.

Ive seen humble bragging before, but it was interesting to see how its almost like they where competing with each other. Best part is a lot of what they said they genuinely had part to their grandkids achievement.

Im telling you the redpills ive been seeing since ive been in the hospital man..
